November is only a few weeks away and this means it time for Movember. The aim of Movember is to raise awareness of mens health including prostate cancer. This is a big killer amongst men.
In 2008, 37,051 new cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed and 10,168 men died. 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. For other startling facts click HERE
During the month of November I will like many other be growing a moustache with the hope of raising a small amount of money to help the research into prostrate cancer. It will also have a side effect of making me look utterly ridiculous with my attempt at growing a moustache.
